Pre-Season Photo’s (give it a like on the Sport Imperial Facebook page)

Septembers pre-season finished with a BANG! Loads of students and staff turned up to train twice a day Monday to Friday with some of the best student strength and conditioning coaches around. Top nutritionists and weightlifting coaches ran seminars and workshops throughout the two weeks. Another Successful Weight Management Programme

Weight Management successfully finished this Monday with everyone attending the celebrations and certification ceremony at Eastside Bar. Everyone did exceptionally well with total weight loss of the group coming in at 47.4kg! A massive achievement and something to be really proud of. All the hard work, nutrition and exercise paid off. Biggest weight loss over the 8 week programme were Imperial staff members, Charles, Susan and Igor. Between them they lost a massive 23.10kg in 8 weeks.

The weight management programme run by the Active Lifestyles Team focuses on cutting edge research in the medical industry combined with over a decade’s worth of fitness and wellbeing knowledge the team worked with staff, students and external Ethos members to produce a tailored nutrition and group fitness program. Fitness sessions are run daily and nutrition advise is provided throughout the programme. Each individual is testing before, during and after to monitor their progress.
