The skills learnt during my PhD, both practical and interpersonal.

Engagement with different research groups, taking part in focused conferences.
What is your fondest memory of your time at Imperial?
It’s environment and location!
Career path and future goals
What are you currently doing and how has your PhD helped you achieve this?
I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde. My PhD at Imperial was recognised and contributed to me achieving this position.
What has been your greatest achievement/career highlight so far?
My Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship and first Lectureship.
What excites you most about your current area of work?
Leading research in Biofluid Mechanics and working with students.
What has your journey been since leaving Imperial?
Worked as a Postodoc and Research Fellow at Imperial College London and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) in Greece, then Lecturer and now Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde.

What was your favourite thing about studying in London?
Being in London and Imperial College, walking through Kensington Gardens and being near wonderful museums!
