The Francis Crick Institute invites staff and students from its partner universities to register their interest in attending a one-day beginners course to learn the necessary skills to analyse their imaging data using the open-source FIJI application.\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/www.crick.ac.uk\/whats-on\/introduction-to-fiji-for-image-analysis<\/a><\/p>\n

Held at the Francis Crick Institute in London, the course mixes classroom-based theory with practical sessions, guiding participants from the fundamentals of image analysis, through best practices, and finishing with hands-on macro scripting.<\/p>\n

No prior experience is required, although a basic understanding of microscopy and image acquisition will be beneficial.<\/p>\n

The course has been developed by experts from the\u00a0Crick Advanced Light Microscopy<\/a>\u00a0(CALM) science technology platform, which provides cutting-edge imaging and image analysis services and training to researchers across the institute.<\/p>\n

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
