You will be working with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/early-career-researcher-institute\/learning-and-development\/courses-by-programme\/research-computing-and-data-science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Research Computing and Data Science<\/a> team at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/early-career-researcher-institute\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Early Career Researcher Institute<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/about\/leadership-and-strategy\/provost\/vice-provost-education\/the-central-education-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Central Education Office<\/a> on<strong> a project to streamline the delivery of supra-curricular teaching and professional development training. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This post is part of an ongoing project to deliver supra-curricular content to all students within Imperial. To enhance this project, there is a desire to know to what extent certain themes are being taught within our curriculum content. This will enable us to better understand what students need from their supra-curricular provision and to highlight complementary areas of content and\/or good practice within core-curricular teaching delivery. You will carry out an analysis of text extracted from module content, which will provide a score for the different themes reflecting how much they are addressed in each module. Four themes will be within scope of the initial project (EDI, Sustainability, Programming, Entrepreneurship\/Enterprise). However, an output of this work should be a software pipeline by which this could be repeated for other themes (and other data sets).<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a GTA with experience of python programming in the context of a research project, and an interest in text analysis.
