Imperial ICT have recently begun providing GitHub Copilot business<\/a> paid subscriptions to Imperial staff and postgraduate students who are involved in research. If you use GitHub Copilot to assist you with programming tasks, these plans provide a high quota which is suitable for regular use (just make sure not use the most expensive models available unless necessary). To get access to this plan you will need to:<\/p>\n

  1. Make a GitHub account<\/a>,<\/li>\n
  2. Join the Imperial GitHub organisation<\/a>\u00a0by clicking here<\/a>,<\/li>\n
  3. Request a licence by visiting this repository<\/a>\u00a0and creating an issue on that repository.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you are interested in learning more about how to use GitHub Copilot in your programming practice, we also run a course<\/a>\u00a0which focuses on learning to use this tool (new dates will be announced in September).<\/p>\n
