Or a project, new research or activity that could make a great Festival event?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The proposal process for the 2027 Great Exhibition Road Festival is now open, and we are inviting Imperial staff and students to get involved.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Festival will return to South Kensington on 19 and 20 June 2027, bringing Imperial&#8217;s research and expertise to thousands of visitors through hands-on activities, talks, performances, demonstrations and more. It is a great opportunity to share what you do, spark curiosity, and exchange ideas and experiences with audiences from across London and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an idea for an activity, event or experience, or would simply like to express your interest in being part of the Festival, now is the time to let us know!<\/p>\n<p>The deadline to submit an idea or register your interest is <strong>the end of the day on Monday 2 November 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#x2728;<\/strong><strong> Please help us by sharing this opportunity with your teams and colleagues. <\/strong><strong>&#x2728;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Great Exhibition Road Festival is Imperial&#8217;s biggest public event, delivered in partnership with leading South Kensington organisations including the Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, Natural History Museum and the V&amp;A. In 2026, we welcomed more than 57,000 visitors, and we are looking forward to building on that success in 2027.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t been before, watch the short highlights film from last year: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/EHw_NO5ISx0?si=5n_OvZ0hVAGP3N-M\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/EHw_NO5ISx0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Any member of staff or student at Imperial can propose an idea. You do not need to have everything worked out at this stage. We are happy to hear from you whether you have a clear idea of what you would like to do or would simply like to get involved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/festival\/get-involved\/\"><strong>More information, including guidance and a link to the proposal form, is available on the Imperial website.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are also holding an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/2002116665843?aff=oddtdtcreator\"><strong>advice session on Tuesday 20 October 2026<\/strong><\/a> for anyone who would like to find out more about taking part and discuss their ideas with the Festival team, however big or small.
