We\u2019re giving you the chance to get to know our staff a little better and learn about what motivates them in their roles, who inspires them and what they like to get up to outside of IGHI.<\/p>\n
Meet Sabina Alexandra Negut, recruitment and development officer for IGHI\u2019s Centre for Health Policy, and Helix Centre. Learn more about her role and how Sabina supports the staff from our centres.<\/p>\n
My role is quite complex as it includes different aspects from the human resources (HR) and operations sphere. I currently support the staff and work of two IGHI centres: The Centre for Health Policy and Helix. My main responsibilities cover areas such as facilitating training and development opportunities for staff, assisting with recruitment, supporting a positive culture and environment in the workplace and handling general HR inquiries.<\/p>\n
The role has many different aspects to it. This offers me the chance to avoid a single daily routine. I have the chance to work and interact with different people from all around the globe. I really enjoy working in a multicultural environment.<\/p>\n
I believe they would describe me as sociable, supportive and team-oriented.<\/p>\n
One of my biggest achievements to date is to have moved from my homeland of Romania to the UK. Here I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies with first-class honours. \u00a0I studied Law and Business for my undergraduate degree at the University of Huddersfield and I obtained a masters degree in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester.<\/p>\n
Becoming a British citizen last year was also a personal achievement for me. This was an honour for me and my family as the first member to gain dual citizenship.<\/p>\n
My dad and mum inspire me daily. They\u2019ve faced many challenges in life and they\u2019ve always faced them together and encouraged each other.<\/p>\n
I would love to read people\u2019s minds. This way, I could understand their ways of thinking in an easier manner.<\/p>\n
Travelling and going out \u2013 I LOVE spending time with my friends and family. I always prefer to be outside the house rather than inside! It has been quite difficult for me to be indoors during lockdown in the last couple of months as I\u2019ve not had the chance to go out, meet friends and explore different places.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
