All things I could not do during the lockdown, which I also spent away from my family.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Therefore, I focused on designing and implementing educational innovations to promote positive values. For example, I wrote a\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Neuron<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0paper explaining how to exploit active and distance learning to adapt neuroscience courses in a time of social distancing. I launched an Imperial-branded blog called\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/alumni-brains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Alumni Brains<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0with interviews featuring neuroscience alumni, aimed at creating a strong sense of belonging within the community. I chaired the weekly\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Virtual Brain Meetings<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0the online version of the\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Brain Meetings<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0seminar series I started\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">organising<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0two years ago, featuring outstanding speakers from all over the world. I collected new student-led interviews with wonderful women in science within another Imperial-branded blog I edit, which is called\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/neuron-topic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">NeurOn<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Topic<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">:<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0the interviews are particularly inspiring and will be published in the following months.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">During the lockdown, I have also won two educational awards:\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/about\/leadership-and-strategy\/provost\/vice-provost-education\/presidents-awards-for-excellence-in-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">President\u2019s Award for Excellence in Education<\/span><\/a><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">from Imperial and the<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aan.com\/tools-and-resources\/academic-neurologists-researchers\/clerkship-and-course-director-resources2\/teaching-and-innovation-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">A.B.
