Congratulations Miss Shriya Mehta and Miss Sophie Rhys-Evans, two IRDB supported intercalated BSc students, who have won The Charles Power prize for best performance in the BSc and The Evelyn de Rothschild Prize for best performance in the BSc project, respectively.<\/p>\n
MDR runs a number of UG and PG courses, including the intercalated BSc in Reproductive & Developmental Sciences (involving those from the IRDB, and from paediatrics). The course is for UG students during their medical school training, with those from Imperial (Year 4), and from other medical schools, joining the programme.<\/p>\n
There are 14 other courses on a wide range of topics run within the Faculty of Medicine, and the best-performing students from all the courses compete for the two top prizes \u2013 for the best performance in the whole year, and the best performance in the research project.<\/p>\n
These students took the BSc in Reproductive & Developmental Sciences, and it is extremely unusual for both winners of these prizes to be from the same course!<\/p>\n
This is a credit to the very hard work put in by the students, and the leadership of the course wishes to officially record our congratulations to the students on two exceptional performances.<\/p>\n
The leadership of the course would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the BSc in Reproductive & Developmental Sciences over the years, in whatever roles you have taken on.<\/p>\n
