{"id":218,"date":"2019-11-22T10:30:20","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T10:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/research-software-engineering\/?p=218"},"modified":"2019-11-22T10:30:20","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T10:30:20","slug":"nl-rse19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/research-software-engineering\/2019\/11\/22\/nl-rse19\/","title":{"rendered":"NL-RSE19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 20 November 2019 Mark Woodbridge and Jeremy Cohen represented Imperial College at <a href=\"https:\/\/nl-rse.org\/events\/NL-RSE19.html\">NL-RSE19<\/a>, the first annual conference of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nl-rse.org\/\">Netherlands Research Software Engineer community<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-219\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/research-software-engineering\/files\/2019\/11\/IMG_20191120_1629442-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"NL-RSE19 poster session\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Their presentation, <em>Strength in Numbers: Growing RSE Capacity at Imperial College London<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.3548308\">10.5281\/zenodo.3548308<\/a>) described the expanding groups involved in RSE at Imperial, their respective activities, and how examples of these are fostering collaboration and awareness across the College. They also took the opportunity to display <a href=\"https:\/\/sched.co\/SMZR\">a poster first shown at UKRSE19<\/a> that highlights key aspects of these initiatives.
