He is currently the Director of the Research Computing Service on a fixed-term basis which ends in September 2022. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Professor Sherwin\u2019s research focuses on the development and application of parallel spectral\/hp element methods for solving partial differential equations.
