Kate will join Imperial on 20 January, allowing for a handover period with Chris.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kate joins from Queen Mary University of London, where she has been the University Librarian since 2017, and brings deep experience with a career in academic libraries spanning over 30 years.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kate began her career with a graduate traineeship at the University of Warwick, followed by posts at Brooklands College in Weybridge, Roehampton University, and the University of Surrey. More recently, she was Associate Director of Collections and Research Support at King\u2019s College London, before joining Queen Mary in her current position.
