Jim Ring was Professor of Infra-Red astronomy in the Department of Physics at Imperial College and appeared regularly on TV programmes such as the Sky at Night. In 1982 he joined the Hunt Committee to report on cable television in the UK. He speaks here on 21 October 1982 about the committees findings.
