It was signalling the fact that it was the 11th birthday of the TV Society, which aired its first programme (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.imperial.ac.uk\/videoarchive\/ic-newsreel-number-1-1970\/\">IC Newsreel<\/a>) back in February 1970. However, things never always go to plan as you&#8217;ll see.
