Student Project Coordinator – Sustainable Welcome Boxes (Silwood Park Campus)
Who should apply
We invite applications from undergraduate students (including recent graduates) and PhD students in the Life Sciences department at Imperial College London who are passionate about environmental sustainability. This is a great opportunity to help shape a culture of sustainability at Silwood Park and demonstrate the campus’s commitment to environmental stewardship and student well-being.
Location: Remote or hybrid, with some potential in-person meetings at Silwood Park Campus
Timeline: Up to 50 hours of work between July and 22 September 2025
Pay: £13.85 per hour
Project Overview
Building on the success of the Sustainable Welcome Challenge led by the SSCP PhD researchers, we are launching a new edition of sustainable welcome boxes for incoming students at Silwood Park in October 2025. We are looking for a Student Project Coordinator to lead the design and delivery of this initiative.While some project details may evolve, you can read more project here
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a student who is:
• Knowledgeable about sustainable development and sustainable procurement
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Comfortable managing a tight budget
• Organised, with strong planning and time-management skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
Bonus points if you have:
• Experience working with external partners
• Familiarity with handling promotional materials
You will work independently but report regularly to project lead Agnes Szwarczynska and Clara
Bradberry to track progress and align on key decisions.
