Paid student job opportunity – become a Welcome Ambassador (deadline: 18 Aug)

Applications are now open for the Welcome Ambassador scheme 2025! Welcome Ambassadors play a crucial role in supporting the experience of our new undergraduate and postgraduate students at Imperial during the Welcome season at the start of term. Working alongside volunteer staff Ambassadors, student Ambassadors provide on-the-ground support in four main areas:

  • Move-in team: helping new students move into halls of residence on move-in days.
  • Event support: working as ushers, coordinators and even co-hosts of the various Welcome events.
  • Welcome Hub: be a friendly face on campus, answering student queries and offering practical guidance and information.
  • Campus tours: give new students a guided tour of some of the main areas of campus.

You might remember an Ambassador in a bright yellow t-shirt helping you move your possessions or providing you campus directions on your first day!
