We are pleased to announce that the MedTechONE Bridging Fund – Round 4 Competition is now open.
This competitive funding offers up to £25,000 in salary support (for up to 4 months) to Imperial researchers working on translational medical technology projects who are nearing the end of their current funding and actively applying for external translational grants. Eligible applicants include MedTechONE fellows, Postdoctoral Research Associates, Research Assistants, final-year PhD students (thesis submitted), clinical research fellows, and clinical lecturers.
Applicants must be based at Imperial College, actively engaged in a managed medtech translational project (e.g. IAA, DT Prime, BRC), and have applied or be applying for a follow-on translational grant (e.g. MRC DPFS, NIHR i4i, RAEng Enterprise Fellowship, Innovate UK).
Applications must be supported by a named academic or clinical PI. Funding must be fully spent by 30 June 2026.
Application deadline: 5 pm on 30 January 2026.
