Despite progress towards gender equality, barriers remain that limit the progression and retention of women and female-identifying individuals in academia, contributing to the persistent ‘leaky pipeline.
Warwick’s Enhancing Research Culture programme, funded by Research England, the Women in Academia project aims to co-develop practical recommendations by engaging female-identifying colleagues and key decision-makers through both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Eligibility:
– Aged 18+
– Identify as a woman in academia (up to 10 years post-PhD, discounting any employment gaps for parental leave, sickness, or career breaks)
– On an academic teaching/research contract
– Based at a UK higher education institution
