A reception to celebrate the experiences and achievements of students who took part in an international programme last academic year, and the transformative impact these experiences can have on education and training in STEMMB.

Overview
This reception will be a showcase of the diverse range of international opportunities at Imperial for UG, PGT and PGR students (please see list below). Students will share their experiences with Imperial staff, faculty and peers via posters and short speeches. Faculty and staff are encouraged to hear from students and reflect on how global opportunities can enhance skills, networks and academic attainment.
The event will also highlight the Imperial Global network of science and technology hubs in Singapore, USA, Ghana and India, which offer new and exciting platforms to develop department and faculty-led student experience opportunities.
Information about funding mechanisms, including the next round of UK Government Turing Scheme funding will also be shared.

17:45: Welcome speech by Professor Alan Spivey, Vice-Provost (Education and Student Experience)
17:50: Short speeches by student ambassadors
18:00 – 18:30: Poster fair and informal networking – student ambassadors share their experiences with guests
