The Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI) is one of six global research institutes at Imperial College London. We work to transform health for all by supporting the identification, development and widespread diffusion of healthcare innovation. In doing so it’s our mission to sustainably reduce inequalities in global healthcare for generations to come.
We’re a multidisciplinary team of talented people from a range of backgrounds and specialities, from clinicians to engineers, policy analysts to designers. Together, we’re working to tackle some of the most pressing healthcare challenges across the globe. We focus on areas in need of transformation, including global health policy, medical robotics, design in healthcare, African health research and nutrition. We’re also dedicated to building the next generation of leaders in healthcare through our world-class educational programmes. Whether that’s health policy-makers, specialist surgeons or patient safety experts, we educate to give people the tools and knowledge to drive real change in global healthcare.
