Professor Richard Green has accepted appointment as Head of the Department of Economics and Public Policy at Imperial College Business School from 1 August 2023, for a term of three years.
Professor Green has been Professor of Sustainable Energy Business at the Business School since 2011, and previously served as Associate Dean of Education Quality and Head of Department for the then Department of Management.
Professor Green’s research is in the field of energy economics and regulation, with a recent focus on the impact of low-carbon generation and energy storage.
