Professor Eric Yeatman FREng, FIEEE, has accepted an extension to his appointment as Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering until 31 August 2025.
Professor Yeatman has been Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering since September 2015. He co-founded and is Chair of the Executive Board of I-X. He is a non-executive director of Imperial Consultants Ltd (ICON), and was co-founder and Chairman of Microsaic Systems plc, the first company to produce compact mass spectrometers.
His current research interests are in energy sources for wireless devices, sensors and sensor networks, and micro-robotics for medicine.
