Dean of Imperial College Business School

Professor Peter Todd has accepted the appointment of Dean of Imperial College Business School with effect from 1 September 2024 for a term of five years. 

Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will be responsible for all aspects of the Business School’s strategy, operations and finances. As Dean, Professor Todd will also be a member of Imperial College London’s Council and its University Management Board (UMB).   

Most recently, Professor Todd served as the Director General (CEO) and Dean of HEC Paris. Prior to this, he was Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, Canada. Professor Todd has also served in several other senior academic administrative roles, such as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, in the McIntire School of Commerce, at the University of Virginia (USA); Associate Dean (Academic), in the C.T Bauer College of Business, at the University of Houston (USA) where he was previously Director of the Information Systems Research Centre; Director of the Research and PhD programmes at the Queen’s University Business School, (Canada).  

Professor Todd was a member of the Board of Directors AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International (2018-2020).  

Professor Todd’s main area of expertise is in the organisation, management, and use of information technology to deliver business value.
