Anna Caffyn has been appointed as Imperial’s new Chief Financial Officer, and will take up the role in January 2026.
Reporting to the President and the Chief Operating Officer, in this role Anna will be a vital member of the University Management Board and its committees. She will be responsible for the financial stewardship of Imperial, our financial strategy, and leading the university’s Finance division.
Anna joins Imperial from the Environment Agency where she currently serves as Finance Director. Her career spans senior roles at HM Treasury, HMRC, and the NHS, where she has driven transformation, improved financial reporting, and championed innovation.
