Dr Jem Woods has accepted appointment as Director of the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP) – one of the departments in Imperial’s Faculty of Natural Sciences – with effect from 1 December 2022, for a period of five years. Dr Woods held the role of Interim Director of the CEP from April 2022.
Dr Woods joined the College in 2002 as a research fellow and was promoted to Reader in Sustainable Development in 2018. He was previously Director of Postgraduate Research Studies and Deputy Director of the CEP.
His research focuses on the interplay between development, land-use and the sustainable use of natural resources.
