Patrick Marsh has accepted the appointment of Chief Property Officer, leading the newly created Property Team with effect from 1 March 2024.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Property Officer will be responsible for the development, operation, repair and ongoing management of Imperial’s property and estates with the goal of having a world class infrastructure to support a world changing academic endeavour.
The Chief Property Officer will oversee the newly established Property Team, which brings together our Estates and Campus Services as one team. Patrick will be supported by Jane Neary as Deputy Chief Property Officer.
Patrick is currently Global Head of Workplace Solutions for Haleon plc, the FTSE 20 business established by GSK’s demerger of its consumer health division. His teams are accountable for the company’s global office and R&D facilities, comprising 115 assets in 60 countries, covering transformation, real estate strategy, capital projects and facilities management. This included a focus on DEI and ESG initiatives, neurodiversity and human centric workplace design.
During his time with GSK, his focus was the large-scale transformation, separation strategy and divestment. Formerly Patrick held several other senior roles at CBRE, Bank of America, Agilent Technologies and Accenture.
Patrick is a Chartered Building Surveyor MRICS with a BSc in Building Surveying from the University of Greenwich.
