Professor Ann Muggeridge, Chair in Subsurface Physics, has been elected as Senior Consul from 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2026. This is in succession of Professor Jonathan Mestel who will have served as Senior Consul for three terms. Professor Muggeridge will stand down as a Proconsul once she takes up the role of Senior Consul.
Professor Martyn McLachlan, Professor of Thin Films, Interfaces and Electronic Devices, has been elected as Consul for the Faculty of Engineering and the Business School from 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2028. Professor McLachlan will succeed one of the two Consuls for this constituency, Professor Alessandro Astolfi.
Professor Charlotte Bevan, Professor of Cancer Biology, has been elected as Consul for the Faculty of Medicine from 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2028. Professor Bevan will succeed one of the two Consuls for this constituency, Professor Miriam Moffatt.
Professor David van Dyk, Chair in Statistics, has been elected as Consul for the Faculty of Natural Sciences and cross university organisations from 1 October 2025 until 31 August 2028. Professor van Dyk will succeed one of the two Consuls for this constituency, Professor David Evans.
