Professor Jason Hallett has accepted the appointment as Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering for a fixed term of five years, with effect from 1 October 2026.
This appointment replaces the current Head of the Department, Professor Omar Matar, who has been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
