Professor Wendy Barclay has accepted an extension to her term as Head of the Department of Infectious Disease starting from 31 July this year.
This will be for a period of up to six months while a comprehensive search takes place for her successor as Head of Department, ensuring continuity of leadership for the Infectious Disease community.
