Professor Kevin Corley has accepted a three-year extension to his term as Head of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College Business School, starting from 1 August 2025.
Professor James Sefton has accepted the appointment of Head of the Department of Finance at Imperial College Business School, with effect from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2028.
Professor Eduardo Andrade has accepted the appointment of Head of the Department of Analytics, Marketing and Operations at Imperial College Business School, with effect from 1 September 2025 to 31 July 2028.
Professor Kevin Corley has accepted the appointment of Head of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, at the Imperial College Business School, with effect from 1 May 2024 until 31 July 2025.
Professor Corley joined Imperial as Professor of Management in 2022 from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State where he held a Full Professor position. Professor Corley has also been a Visiting Professor at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Professor Robert Kosowski has accepted an extension to his appointment as Head of the Department of Finance, at the Business School, until 31 July 2025.
Professor Kosowski joined Imperial from INSEAD in 2006 as Assistant Professor and was promoted to Professor of Finance in 2019. He served previously as Deputy Head of the Department of Finance.
He is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and has held several advisory positions with notable institutions – including with the UK Government, within the banking sector, and with the International Monetary Fund.
Professor Kosowski’s research interests include asset management, risk management, machine learning, hedge funds, mutual funds, performance measurement, business cycles, derivative trading strategies and economic forecasting.
Professor Peter Todd has accepted the appointment of Dean of Imperial College Business School with effect from 1 September 2024 for a term of five years.
Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will be responsible for all aspects of the Business School’s strategy, operations and finances. As Dean, Professor Todd will also be a member of Imperial College London’s Council and its University Management Board (UMB). (more…)
Professor Richard Green has accepted appointment as Head of the Department of Economics and Public Policy at Imperial College Business School from 1 August 2023, for a term of three years.
Professor Green has been Professor of Sustainable Energy Business at the Business School since 2011, and previously served as Associate Dean of Education Quality and Head of Department for the then Department of Management.
Professor Markus Perkmann has accepted appointment as Vice-Dean (Research & Faculty) for the Imperial College Business School for an initial three-year term, effective from 1 July 2023.
In this role, Professor Perkmann will be responsible for leading and enhancing the research strategy and culture of the Business School, as well as overseeing recruitment, development and promotion for academic staff. He will also work closely with other Vice-Deans across the College to foster interdisciplinary research collaborations and partnerships.
Professor Franklin Allen will take up the role of Interim Dean of the Imperial College Business School, from 1 September 2023, following the departure of Professor Francisco Veloso who will be leaving Imperial at the end of August to take up the position of Dean at INSEAD Business School. Professor Allen will be working closely with Professor Veloso over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Reporting to the Provost, as the Interim Dean Professor Allen will be a member of the University Management Board. He will be responsible for leading the Business School, including promoting their profile internationally and fostering excellence in research and education.
