The experiment revisited…

I am deeply sorry for the delay but, as you know, we are always busy at Imperial College ๐Ÿ˜‰ Yet, I’d still like to share my experiences on my previously announced “experiment”, which took place during the Christmas holidays.

As you know, we had only three weeks to study for our exams, which is nothing regarding the amount of readings and lecture slides we were supposed to absorb. So, the main task when you start your revision is to come up with a good plan how to proceed! Since you are short of time, you’ll need to structure your study materials and differentiate between “very important”, “important” and “less important” parts. Having a good structure helps you focus and you won’t lose track as easily. For one of the challenges is to not confuse, mix up or comepletely forget important things both during revision and exams. Even if it seems nearlyย  impossible to do so, try to keep up with the core readings during the term, otherwise you won’t be able to catch up later on.

Bearing these basics in mind, you can conduct your experiment well and successfully, even given the shortage of study time. After all, it is all about the proper time management.

Still, everybody was more than glad when the intense exam week was over one week ago! And, believe it or not, we are again already immersed in group assignments, the first of which is due this Friday!
