“I completed my PhD in Business Administration and Management in Italy, before visiting top US institutions including MIT as a scholar – eventually coming to Imperial College Business School, where I’ve been for around nine years.
In general, I’m interested in understanding how collective cognition unfolds in the innovation process, that is, I study how teams in organizations collectively develop new ideas and interpretations leading to successful new products and services.
I also teach management of design and design thinking to MSc and MBA students as well as qualitative research methods to PhD students. In 2016, I received the Imperial College Business School Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in Teaching. In April 2018, I was included in the Poets and Quants’ List of “Top 40 MBA professors under 40”.
