First round finished, ready for the second!

Back again! It’s been a hard term but we finished the first term exams last Friday and we can breathe again. Well, really not for a long time, it seems!

Next year students might be interested in knowing that we had the first term exams just after the break. We had three entire weeks for revisions (last two of December and the first of January) and then… 5 exams in a row! As I did, you might want to go back home on holidays so, my recommendation, start working hard and studying from the very beginning of the course, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy your “deserved” holidays.

Halfway!

As you can read on the other posts, yes, we’re halfway the first term! It’s been busy, very busy, but challenging and motivating too. We started with Accounting, Health Informatics and Marketing. Accounting is probably the toughest subject for those who, like me, have never studied anything related to economics or finance. But, even if you have to work hard to be up to date, the teaching system is well designed so that at the end of the course you feel that you have really made the most of it.

So we’ve worked a lot! Individually but also in syndicate groups.

Think about your future!

Hi to all prospective students! My name is Ion Agirrezabal, I am Basque, 27 years old, and I am currently studying MSc International Health Management at Imperial College Business School. My background is scientific: I studied biochemistry and then worked for more than 4 years (first in a research laboratory and then in a pharmaceutical company) until I arrived here in London a few weeks ago. However, my trip to London started a long time ago doing what you are doing right now: looking for information and feeling a little bit lost and overwhelmed. But don’t panic! It takes time to gather information, read, evaluate and make a decision.
